Bank of England Citizens’ Forum – Birmingham

The Bank of England is inviting people from across the West Midlands to take part in a Citizens’ Forum taking place in Birmingham on Thursday 4 June from 6pm to 8pm.
The forum is an opportunity for local residents to share their experiences of the cost of living, personal finances and the local labour market directly with senior Bank of England officials and representatives from the Bank’s Agency for the West Midlands.
The event forms part of the Bank of England’s Citizens’ Forum Programme, which has been running across the UK since 2018 to help ensure local voices and lived experiences help inform national policy decisions.
The session is open to anyone aged 18 and over. Attendance is free, refreshments will be provided, and attendees will receive a £25 payment to help cover expenses.
Places are limited and available through pre-registration only. Registration closes on Thursday 21 May. The exact Birmingham venue will be shared with attendees following registration.
