Launch of the Birmingham Community Action Network (B: CAN)
Exciting news for Birmingham’s community landscape!
The official launch of the Birmingham Community Action Network (B: CAN) at Alexander Stadium marked a pivotal moment for grassroots engagement across our city. This initiative has the potential to transform how local communities shape their own futures and drive meaningful change at the neighbourhood level.
The newly updated B:CAN website is now live with comprehensive resources including:
- The B:CAN Prospectus outlining the network’s vision and approach
- Directory of current members and their services
- Clear application process for local groups wanting to join
This is community-led action at its finest – empowering residents to take ownership of local challenges and opportunities. I encourage everyone to explore the platform and consider how your community group or organisation might benefit from being part of this growing network.
