St Paul’s Trust has recently recruited our new CEO, Manjit Dehal, who will replace our outgoing CEO Lisa Martinali.

The Trust says, a big thank you to Lisa for her commitment which has led to a new strategic plan, vision, values, an updated structure and identification of resources to enable this, alongside securing new opportunities to build upon the strong history of the Trust.

Manjit, who joins the Trust on 3 March, is a strategic and values-driven leader with over 25 years of experience in the charity, education, and social care sectors;  passionate about creating lasting impact. With a track record in securing sustainable funding, financial stewardship, developing and nurturing partnerships and leading multi-disciplinary teams through change and growth, Manjit has dedicated her career to championing equity, inclusion, and sustainable community development.

I am honoured to join St Pauls at such an exciting time. The Trusts deep-rooted commitment to empowering communities is truly inspiring, and I look forward to leading the organisation into its next phase of growth, ensuring we continue to make a lasting impact. My vision for St Paul’s is to build on its proud legacy whilst steering the organisation into a new era of opportunity, ensuring it remains a vital force for positive change in the community; creating a fairer, brighter future for all.

Qualified with a Postgraduate degree in Education and NPQICL, I bring additional perspective through previous voluntary advisory roles with BBC Children in Need, Barrow Cadbury Trust, and the Tipton Education Fund. My leadership style focuses on fostering collaboration, nurturing staff development, and building sustainable partnerships that create lasting positive change in communities.

Facilities Supervisor

Salary:             

 

£27,418pa

Hours of work:             

 

37.5 hours per week 

(some out of hours/weekend working may be required)

Contract Term: Subject to a 6 month probationary period

Overview of role:-

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Facilities Supervisor to join our team. In this vital role, you’ll help create and maintain safe, efficient workspaces while ensuring we meet all regulatory requirements.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver high-quality agile facilities management services with a strong focus on value for money
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire, and environmental legislation and standards
  • Manage site maintenance activities, including managing cleaning staff
  • Support procurement processes and contractor management What we’re looking for:
  • Experience in facilities management or a related field
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Substantial Management/Supervisory and working in a site security and/or maintenance environment experience is essential.

Job Title: Out of School Club
Coordinator for ‘The Nest’  
Salary:              £26,288 (pro rata £17,525pa)  
Contract Term: Subject to a 6 month probationary period

Overview of role:-

To take the lead in Coordinating ‘The Nest’ out of school club, a playcare service that provides childcare for parents of primary aged children. The role includes collecting children from schools, providing refreshments and ensuring we have quality activities for children that include sports, games, creative activities, arts and craft. Sessions run after school and all day in the school holidays.

We require someone who can relate well to parents and children as well as supervise the playworkers in the team. It is important that you are passionate about ‘play’ and can take the lead in maintaining an outstanding childcare service.
