Job Title: 3 x Teaching Assistants – with one to one responsibility
Department: School
Salary Scale: £22,308pa (pro rata £19,305pa)
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (Term Time only)
Contract Term: Subject to a 6 month probationary period
Job Purpose:
To work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils, promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement. Supporting young people with SEN in a school setting is essential along with the ability to establish positive relationships with pupils and empathise with their needs.
